List of foreign NBL Canada players : ウィキペディア英語版 | List of foreign NBL Canada players
In the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL), foreign players—also known as international players—are those who were born outside the United States or Canada. Players who were born in U.S. overseas territories, such as Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam, are considered international players even if they are U.S. citizens. Yannick Anzuluni and Boubacar Coly were the first international players to play in the NBL Canada. The two faced each other in the league's first-ever regular season game on October 29, 2011, between the Moncton Miracles and Laval Kebs.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://basketball.realgm.com/international/boxscore/2011-10-29/Moncton-Miracles-at-Laval-Kebs/93658 )〕 The first international player to be drafted into the league was Obinna Agomo, who held Nigerian citizenship.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://nblcanada.ca/nblcanada/images/nbl_canada_2014-15_post-season_guide.pdf )〕 Agomo never appeared in an NBL Canada game, however.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Obinna-Agomo/Summary/41972 )〕 Papa Oppong, who was of Ghanaian descent but was born and raised in the Toronto, Canada area, was the first second-generation foreign player to be drafted into the league.〔 == By country ==
